Nom Nom Navigator ("we", "us", "our") is a food truck discovery platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the service, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Account information — your name and email address when you register, or provided automatically when you sign in with Google.
• Session data — a session cookie is set when you log in so we can keep you signed in. We use no other cookies.
• Food truck listings (operators only) — business name, description, location schedules, menu details, and photos that you upload.
• Reviews and favorites — reviews you write and trucks you save as favourites.
• Payment information — subscription and purchase payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number or full payment details.

How we use it

We use the data we collect solely to operate Nom Nom Navigator — to show you food trucks near you, let operators manage their listings, process subscriptions, and send transactional emails (e.g. password resets). We do not use your data for advertising or build profiles for sale.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate:

• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. If you use it, Google shares your name and email with us under their own privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI-compliant and handles card data independently.
• DigitalOcean Spaces — photo storage for food truck images you upload.

None of these providers sell your data on our behalf.

Cookies

We set a single session cookie when you log in. This cookie is essential for authentication and expires when your session ends or after a period of inactivity. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
